Hi Parents! We are still busy working on our Class Show as well as finishing off Unit 3 in Our World. We will do the Unit 3 test
this week and will start the next unit. We also had the Speech Contest last week which went really well! The students all knew their
speeches and Teacher Lucy and I were delighted with the results!
In Unit 4 of Our World, we’re learning words that describe how things look, feel, taste, sound, and smell. We're talking about the
senses and learning past tense verbs. In Grammar, we're asking and answering questions in the simple present and in the simple
past and using linking verbs to talk about the senses. In Reading, we’re reading a text called "Amazing Animal Senses." It gives
information about animals that see, hear, smell, taste, and touch in a different way from humans. In Writing, we’re writing about
the four seasons. We're using the word “or” to show choices between two connected ideas.
Sophia did great on her speech!
She looked so nice and her props were great! Super effort!
