Hi Parents! We are wrapping up Unit 1 of Our World this week, doing the Unit Test and starting Unit 2! Busy busy!
In this Unit we will be learning about places in our city. It is important to explore and find new things in our city.
We will be learning names for places in cities, towns, and villages, how to ask for help and how to give directions. In Reading Class, we’re reading a text called "Eye in the Sky." It gives information about satellites. In Writing Class we’re writing about our favorite place in the world and for our Project we’re making My World circles to show the relationships between our home, city, country, continent, and world. If you have any travel picture of your child’s favorite place in the world, please print them or email them to teacher Lucy so we can use them in our Projects!

Sophia is doing well in class!
She loves drawing and sometimes needs reminders to focus on the work at hand but overall she is making good progress!
