Hangzhou Travel Diary

2015年04月07日
We got there on April 1st. Then, we checked into the Four Point Hotel and ordered room service.
The next day, we checked into the Xixi Sheraton Hotel. That day we had lunch at Grandma's House Restaurant. We ate Dongpo pork.
We took a free shuttle bus to Xixi National Wetland Park and had a boat tour.
We had longjing tea at Xixi Manor. Some of the snacks with the tea were different from Taiwan. We had some fruits, like cherry tomatoes, oranges and kumquats, which we don't have with tea in Taiwan. The kumquats in Hangzhou are sweeter than in Taiwan.
It's raining on the 3rd day, so we stayed in the hotel and went for a swim in the morning. Then we checked out and moved to the Azure Qiantang Hotel on the Qiantang River. We could smell osmanthus in the hotel lobby. It was very pleasant. We stayed in a premier room (#1907) for two nights, and moved to a signature room (#1102) for the last two nights.
For the following three days, we walked and rode the electric cart around the West Lake.
We also saw the "Impression West Lake" but we weren't very impressed.
Molly said "Most of the scenes are the same thing".
