Technically speaking, the first invention of the waterproof umbrella can be stretched back to 3500 B.C in China. It was made up of bamboo, wood, oil, lacquer, etc., which could support a canopy and shield sun ray and rain.
Over the centuries, the formations of umbrella have been innovated in various ways. For instance, some are compact and handy for the children and elderly. Others with polka dots or Japanese cartoons can look stylish and かわいい (ka wa i).
The front is approaching to the main island of Taiwan, ensure to carry an umbrella with you when going out, otherwise you may get caught by a sudden downpour somewhere or other.
