The children have been busy learning about the different seasons in particular, Summer. We talked and drew what are the things we like to do and what do we wear during this time. We read stories about going to the beach and playing in the sand.
In Maths we did some sorting by colours and shape recognition (square and circle). We also practiced writing the numbers 1and 2 and working on 1 to 1 correspondence.
In Language we are working on Days of the Week recognition and what specialists we have each day. We practiced some handwriting strokes and how to use a correct pencil grip.
Starting next week as part of helping you know how your child is doing, every second week you will either get an email or message in the communication book about their progress. All the girls' parents will get a short message about how their child is doing.
