Dear Parents,
Weren't the children great on stage today at the assembly.
This week we continued our work on Stories. The children had the opportunity to see a Shadow Puppet Performance, which was wonderful. Mr Cox came and told them about a camping trip he had when he was young and how he saw a bear. The children later drew what things that they might see in the woods. The children are also becoming quite confident in presenting and explaining their work to the class.
We continue to work on our letters and their sounds and everyone is trying really hard to remember both. They are also all trying hard with writing words.
In Maths we have been working on sequencing and putting events of stories into the correct order. The children are becoming quite good at reading graphs to record information.
