Dear Parents,
Welcome back. It is lovely to be back in Beijing after having a wonderful time at home with my family.
We started our 'Stories' unit and the children have been learning about the different parts of the story and characters Our focus this week was 'The very hungry caterpillar'. We made some patterned caterpillars, drew what we liked in the story and drew what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the story. We also made our own book of P words using the interactive white board. Check out the WIKI to see the pictures.
Next week our focus will be Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you see?and Polar Bear Polar Bear What do you hear?
We also have been lucky to have many teachers come to read to us.
I have attached another copy of the Stories Newsletter for those parents who may not have received.
Just a reminder there will be an assembly on Friday February 25th at 8.30. PreK will be performing. Please also be reminder that Thursday and Friday next week and PD days for teachers. There will be no students.
