給州長的信

2009年06月11日
On Sunday the 7th of June, while many Queenslanders were celebrating Queenslands 150th Birthday and Queensland Week, its sad to see we are also hurting ourprecious land. Thousands of RACQ free water bottles were handed out all over Roma Street Parkland, and not even a single recycle bin was found. Why is that? Is this how we show we love Queensland? People were forced to dump their plastic water bottles into general waste bins. With so many children looking on, what sort of example are we setting to the future generations about how we adults treat our environment? Anna, please explain why state-wide events are run in this way and please do something about it. Hopefully we will see recycle bins in Queensland Week 2010.
From a Queenslander who cares about the environment.
