Please let Dad know that there is no need to call me this Saturday morning. Our electricity has been out for 4 days. So even if he calls, the telephone will not ring. We try not to stay at home because it is very cold when there is no electricity to run the heater. Hopefully everything will return to normal by next week.
沒想到這次風災這麼嚴重，連美國這麼先進的國家也會連續停電四天。印象中，在台灣，颱風造成的停電都一下子就修復了，很少超過半天，連九二一大地震，也沒停電超過一天吧！原來台電公司的工作效率是很高的。
