I went to an annual dinner with my grandparents and my grandpa’s colleagues. There were lucky draws, games and gifts.
When the number 4 gift has been given to a person, a man took a piece of paper. He said: “Gift no. 5 is presented to … number 27!” Nobody came out to receive the gift. “Who has the number 27 in his hand?” I hollered. Finally, a person came out. As I was so loud, the man even asked me to announce the winners! That man also asked my grandpa to get five pieces of papers. I read out every paper in my hand. A woman took the last three pieces of paper. Same as before, I read them out. The last piece of paper wrote my number, 26 on it! I raised my hand and told the man that it was me. My prize was such a big prize! It was 1,400 dollars!
On our way home, I took only $200 and gave the rest of money to my grandparents because I am not greedy. Guess how I spent my money? I gave $100 to my mum. As for the other $100, I exchanged it for two $50s. I gave one $50 to my sister and put the rest in my kitty bank.
