April's Poem

2013年06月11日
A Stupid Butterfly

We were having Maths lesson,
Our teacher was teaching Division.
But a butterfly interrupted us,
and flew all around like a bus.

"Welcome, butterfly” said Mrs Mak.
The butterfly flew near our packs.
The butterfly flew on my drawing of a sunflower,
but I do think it would taste sour.

I was surprised to see the butterfly.
It was white with black spots, wait, why?
I don’t know what was the reason,
And I don’t think it’s the best season.

I told Mum about the butterfly.
Mum listened to me and sighed.
“If I could see one on my own,
I’d tell April when I go home.”

Mum thought for a while and said:
“Spring is the season butterflies like the best.”
I don’t know why so I think and think,
and I think until my face gets pink.
