The Review

The paper presents an overview of a recently implemented interaction design program. Within an educational session, this would be an interesting contribution, because the paper also compares the program to other programs worldwide.
The paper is clearly organized, but its weak point is that it does not offer key new insights into interaction design or ducation, although it clearly describes the situation at one institute.
An improvement might be to include a more explicit definition of
interaction in the paper. In the abstract already, the comparison is made that 'interaction design' is not 'interface design', because a VISUAL interface is not needed. Actually, interface design as such goes well beyond only the visual modality, also including the other senses. Also, the interaction design programme presented takes a rather traditional, product-centered view (also if we look at the rather small part of human factors or social sciences as compared to other educations in Europe and the US).
