I have been meaning to send you pictures that I took this summer of Ruby and Buddow!
Ruby and Buddow vacationed at a cottage near Parry Sound this summer. They spent a week (with us) at the Smilin'' Moose Lodge. They enjoyed sitting on the large deck that overlooked the lake. The dogs would spend hours watching people boat and seadoo past them. When our family was out swimming in the lake Ruby and Buddow would walk out to the dock and lie on it to watch us. The dock floats in the water (but has a ramp from land) but they dogs didn''t seem to mind that it moved around a bit. (The dogs expressed no interest in
swimming though!)During the evening they would sit on the nearby lawn while we would have a fire and watch the stars.
Graham''s family came to Ontario this summer and there were about 12 of us at the cottage. The dogs loved it! Especially the attention given to them by Grandmother!

The dogs are doing well, but Ruby is slowing down quite a bit. She goes very slowly when we are out for walks and she has trouble climbing the stairs on some days (so we carry her up and down).
That aside, they are happy and we were so pleased they could join us for our vacation.
