Once I read a book called The BFG,
I thought it quite amusing, extremely funny.
Just before I read it,
I guessed what it might stand for..

F for Furry
G for Gorilla!

He saw me in my jimjams and trumpeted a song!
A misty thing before me,
Looked like a stripy bee,
Flew right up my nose!

He was wearing a long coat,
Kind of night-gown-ish to me,
Huh? Or is that his fur?

He messed up my bedroom so it looked like a battlefield!
My mum screamed the house down,
Then fainted like my doll,
No rules till she wakes!

I thanked him very much for the faint catastrophe!
Many big droplets,
Tumbled down his cheeks,
Awww! Isn't he sweet?
The Big Furry Gorilla's now a Roald Dahl story!
The greatest success, there's ever been!
I'm just a bit confused,
Why a giant not gorilla?
Maybe he's changed form?...
