My first time watching Anne of Green Gables was at age 13, the first year of junior high (1992) which is promoted by my Chinese teacher, and then I was fascinated to it immediately, even bought the video tape.
What the story attracted me is the innocent plot and beautiful scenery and soundtrack, and especially the most romantic story that I’ve ever seen, which Gilbert proposed to Anne, and the their kiss over the bridge.
This movie shows positive, bright and aggressive attitude toward life and it encourages when I feel frustrated. Meanwhile, there’s always the thought across my mind that is ”where is my Gilbert Blythe”?
Finally, as fortune as I am, I found my Gilbert Blythe in my life.
Recently I bought the DVD as the collection because the studio company restored the scene of AoGG, and some memories just recalled with different feelings when I saw it.
I still want myself to be the pure person as I was, as Anne said ”I am happy, and nothing would hold me back”.
Yes, I’m really happy for everything in my life!
