家長會上老師跟我們分享的一首詩
愷媽以前曾經讀過， 不過今天老師朗讀出來，帶給我的是另一番的感動
"你是一具弓,你的子女好比有生命的箭借你而送向前方"
父母之於子女是這麼樣的重要
期許自己...
當一把可以襯職的幫助子女、 可以強韌的拉滿的弓， 當他們的後盾
共勉之

你的孩子並不是你的
他們是"生命"對它自身的渴慕所生的子女
他們經你而生,卻不是你所造生
雖然他們與你同在,卻不屬於你
你可以給他們你的愛,卻非你的思想
因為他們有他們自己的思想
你能供給他們身體安居之所,卻不可藏置他們的靈魂
因為他們的靈魂居住的明日之屋,甚至在你的夢中你亦無法探訪
你可以奮勉以求與他們相像,但不要設法使他們肖似你
因為生命不能回溯,也不滯戀昨日
你是一具弓,你的子女好比有生命的箭借你而送向前方
射手看見了在無限之路上的標記,而用祂的大力來拉彎你,以使祂的箭能射得快且遠.
愉悅的臣服在祂的手中吧
因為正如祂愛那飛馳的箭,同樣祂也愛這強固的弓
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in you dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward not tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let our bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.
