There were 54 contestants this year at district's Spelling Bee Contest. (2 students from each elementary school.) Irene and Catherine represented Hirsch Elementary School. Unfortunately, Irene was eliminated on the 2nd round and Catherine was eliminated on the 3rd round. Both girls didn't make it to county's spelling bee.
It was great experience watching the spelling contest. Never been to one before, so very glad our whole family went to see it.
Wish Catherine and Serena or at least one of them will have the opportunity next year to enter the contest.
