地震的回憶

I was in the epicenter in 1999 Taiwan earthquake.  It was in the midnight, past 12 am when earthquake hit.  The heavy wardrobe fell on me, that’s when I woke up.  I saw furnitures move to the other side of the room.  Some furnitures blocked my way out.  I jumped across the heavy furniture and ran out of the building.  Never been an athlete before and it seems not after.  But very sad thing is I have a student whose relatives or neighbors died in that earthquake.
