From June 29th to July 17th of 2017, it was my first time to traveled to America. I was really excited that I could go to America with my friends, but I was also afraid that I couldn’t speak well to communicate with foreigners.
No matter in Disneyland, Universal Studios,UCLA,or Camp Fire,we needed to talk in English at any time.In Disneyland and Universal Studios,if we wanted to buy things,we needed to ask for the price or any help.In UCLA,we needed to speak more in class,so we could learn more.And we should say “Can I take a picture with you? ”When you wanted to take a picture with some people from other country,this was a good way for us to practice English.In Camp Fire,although our companion were all Taiwanese,sometimes the whole camp will play together,like hiking,archery,or camping.Hence,we should interact with the foreigners or talked to our leader.
In the beginning,I was afraid of my poor communication ability.But I came up with the purpose of coming to America,it was to be braver and talkative.If I didn’t try to say something and learn something new,this trip was a pity.So I tried to speak more English with foreigeners.In Disneyland and Universal Studios,I tried to ask the price of things I want to buy.In UCLA,I tried to take pictures with other people.In Camp Fire,I tried to enjoy the games.After experiencing all the things, became braver to talk to strangers or anybody I hadn’t met before.This stdy tour was really fun and significantly,I hope I can go there again when I grow up.I may learn more and expand my horizon.Of course,I also would like to thank my parents suppont me to go there,that’s why I have this wonderful adventure.
