關於Buffer

英文中有個字叫做 buffer 這個字對我來說超好用 從此以後雅虎信箱的檔案夾中就多了一個"buffer" 任何不知道要歸類到哪裡的文章 e-mail, 訊息 丟到這個檔案夾中就好 舉凡商店寄來的折價券 航空公司說機票下跌囉 朋友給的狗屁倒灶文章(通常是健康 防癌類的大堆頭文) 哪天想起來 整理一下所需 再用不到的就大筆一揮 丟掉! 我家客廳也有一個這樣的"buffer" 搬家之際 舉凡不知道要歸類到儲藏室 還是客廳中甚麼都有 屬於隨時取用型的大書架 或是廚房類 房間的"提早準備物品 譬如小孩的未來衣物等等" 都往裡面丟。舉凡:從飯店帶回來卻又用不到的拖鞋 晚上使用電腦時需要戴上的耳機 也不知道甚麼時候會出門露營才會用到的扇子 上次去海邊撿垃圾戴的花園手套(不能丟 六個月後的活動還會用到) 總是準備好但小孩出門卻總是不搽的防曬油 上一個報廢的電腦用的滑鼠 幾百年前在美國國家公園買的 baby 動物的照片等等 丟也不是 不丟也不是的東西很多 很多 很多(因為很多 所以要強調) 在新家的走廊也有個這樣的箱子 擺放的是搬家之際 要出清的二手物品。總想說搬家完休息一個月 應該夠吧 就來拍個照片一次po上網賣吧 誰知道一個月不夠 那些東西就一直佔在走廊的箱子中 成為buffer。三不五時要出席正式一點的場合 又去箱子裡面撈原本覺得在也穿不到 所以放在出清箱子中的洋裝。原本今天試放空日 表示該做點甚麼來把預期要做完的出清動作開個頭 好歹也讓走廊空出來吧~ 可是她們(那些Burberry的洋裝 Hollister不再適合我的牛仔裙子 還是出籠嗎?) 依舊坐在Buffer的位子上。鈍鈍的。

(by阿德) Les 3 Vallees是1998/2010 ( 住Alpina ), DOLOMITI是1999/2006, 2000年的ZERMATT(策馬特) 義大利的滑雪場 – CERVINIA 奧地利SOLDEN 幾天我把大致定案的11/12歐洲滑雪地點給公佈出來在滑遍天下網站和臉書上,有些雪友覺怎麼這麼快就在搞明年3月的行程。其實…每年歐洲團的團員大都會”關切”下一年度的活動地點,有時還沒有開始滑雪,在往滑雪場的巴士上大家就開始熱烈討論。從1998年的法國Les 3 Vallees至今,歐洲ALPS滑雪行程已經變成傳統,滑遍天下的念頭也是從這裡起源,其間有想過要暫停下來(08/09雪季受連動債造成的國際金融風暴影響,幾乎無法成團), 但是還是在”捨不行”的念頭之下,一年接過一年繼續滑走於ALPS各山頭,一晃就是14個年頭。在歐洲能喊出名字的滑雪場,80%我們到訪過;滑道總長度600km的Les 3 Vallees辦了2次、跨瑞法的Portes du Soleil有我們的雪跡(總長度680km)、400條纜車的DOLOMITI SUPER SKI去了2次也沒有滑完,ST.ANTON/ZERMATT/JUNGFRAU/VERBIER/TIGNES…那一個不是響叮噹的如雷貫耳!?今年的奧地利SOLDEN應是我們去過最小的滑雪場滑道總長度也還有150km。不過即使ALPS還有數不計的雪場還未到訪,可是能讓大家看上眼的卻不多;雪況、規模、SHOPPING…,滑完150km的SOLDEN後,大家的心得是以後可不可以挑”大”一點的雪場?咱們台灣人可都是有雄心壯志的! 還沒有去過的大滑雪場還有不少,但是很多都卡在海拔太低被淘汰,要靠巴士來回接駁的也儘可能避免,太貴的要把優先順序排後面,滑道總長度低於150km也不能入列,那…就真的不好找了。事實上今年歐洲團的眾團員意見很分歧,在曾經去過的雪場裡面,小不點難忘VERBIER每天都要吃一大口的饅頭,小莊對錯怪2次的DOLOMITI嚮往不已、我個人則對幾乎沒有印象的Val d’Isere有強烈企圖。這些地方都各有擁護者,當然也有人從頭到尾都點頭,總而言之唯一的共識就是我決定就好…最後又把球傳到我這裡。 從4月中旬開始,我就有一搭沒一搭的在看雪場的資料,看看北美又點點紐澳,念頭一轉又抓幾個歐洲雪場官網研究研究…。大家的話我都聽進去了,所以VERBIER/DOLOMITI/Val d’Isere都在我的研究範圍之內,又為了找更多的資料,家中那本98年版德文ALPS雪場介紹也被我翻出來。各方資訊整理之後,基本上奧地利剛去過,德國雪場太小,所以都沒有列入考慮,主要目標我還是放在法國、瑞士、義大利。 瑞士的VERBIER是第一個被淘汰的,瑞朗幣值太高,挑了一間3顆星旅館(B&B),EMAIL傳回來的報價完全無法接受…直接砍掉。目標轉到Val d’Isere,什麼都看了一遍,最後挑中一間提供B&B的2顆星旅館,扣除晚餐之後報價似乎在接受範圍之內,至於晚餐我和小不點已經決定帶小爐子去煮泡麵,再不然就吃漢堡披薩應該也不錯。寫到這裡大家可能會好奇怎麼都是挑旅館而不是附廚房的APARTMENT!?是的…我對APARTMENT的分房感到很無力,夾在中間調度房間真的有苦難言,所以改成2人一室的旅館房型讓自己輕鬆一下。在幾乎要發信訂房時,手又不自主的在搜索網頁鍵入EUROPE TOP 10 SKI RESORT…,明知道我現在挑的都已是歐洲TOP 10,可是還是想看看別人是怎麼介紹這些知名雪場,看著看著目標又移轉到義大利的DOLOMITI;VAL GARDENA、ALTA BADIA、CORTINA的房間都尋了一輪,首選是這裡最有名辦過冬奧的CORTINA,可惜往外發展都要靠巴士很不方便。選到上次到訪住宿的ALTA BADIA,這裡同樣3顆星旅館,位置在滑道、纜車旁邊的和要走路才能去滑雪的,含早、晚餐住宿一晚的價格差達90歐元。這讓我左右為難…;不過同樣價格可以含晚餐,我當然把Val d‘Isere又從名單上劃掉。先不管是不是可以滑完1000多公里的DOLOMITI,單單欣賞那多變的奇山怪石就值回票價,但是讓我很為難的原因有2。原因1離纜車站近的旅館價格高我辦不下去,而價錢合理的旅館離纜車的距離有點遠,對不耐走路的台灣雪友不利,想到大家唉嚎的表情,就讓我整個心揪作伙。原因2是上次去DOLOMITI是2006年,才5年的時間要第3次到訪,這有點無法說服自己…,就在這當頭靈光乍現!   既然現在挑的雪場都是曾經去過的,為什麼不能再往前挑!?Les 3 Vallees是1998/2010,DOLOMITI是1999/2006,2000年的ZERMATT(策馬特)怎麼沒納入考慮!?好歹馬特洪峰(Matterhorn)也是歐洲叫的號的名山。不過ZERMATT的價格真的不菲,2000年去時就覺得高不可攀,瑞朗高漲的現在更是讓人不容易親近。沒有去過ZERMATT的雪友可能不曉得,這裡的交通工具都是以非汽油車輪為主;電動車、馬車、自行車。有錢人搭馬車或是電動計程車去纜車站,沒錢人(像我們)不是靠雙腳步行,就是搭擠的像沙丁魚的電動公車前往,在馬路上看到穿雪鞋扛雪板單手騎自行車不要覺得奇怪,至少這是輕鬆不用花錢也不用受氣的。種種的種種讓我從來沒有要再回ZERMATT的想法。 但是看著DOLOMITI的資料讓我想到另外一個也在義大利的滑雪場 – CERVINIA,根據網頁上的資料從CERVINIA的山頂滑到山腳,滑道長度達20km,這幾乎是全歐最長的滑道;而這條滑道往上延伸即是Matterhorn,沒有錯…CERVINIA翻過山頭就是ZERMATT,Matterhorn正是在瑞、義交界處。這樣的選擇似乎面面顧到;義大利很久沒有去、滑道總長度幾達300km、EUROPE TOP 10滑雪場、橫跨瑞士/義大利有噱頭…。真要說缺點就是可惜義大利側看不到最帥的馬特洪峰,不過我們可以翻到瑞士去看三角巧克力上的有名的LOGO,這會更有樂趣。目前為止旅館也查的差不多,有兩間旅館在挑選,網路上的評價也在中上,這兩間的回覆也都回來了,現在訂房不嫌早…,對方連下年度的房價都設定好。我得在下星期一前先付訂金出去(半部TOYOTA WISH車款),下了訂一切就定案,我也可以安心做其它事情。重回Matterhorn…按個讚!!!

2018的搬家與新年

去年的十一月知道Mia即將可以進入MGS 我們就斷斷續續地在看房子 看了喜歡Kings Albert Park 可是去觀音廟求籤 觀音一直說不好 所以搬家計畫擱置 我們按原計畫:我跟Mia回台灣 我還跟老公去韓國會合了 Emma因為隔年有小提琴ABRSM與O Level考試 加上她中三比較忙 我就沒幫她買機票 要她自己決定是否回台(自己找機票)或是留在新加坡。 聖誕節回到這裡 開學頭兩個星期我們還過著早上Emma帶Mia出門 下午我得去接她花上一個鐘頭才回到Tiong Baru的家。所以第二周維銘就簽好租屋的約定 我們選個日自即刻搬家,用了三個周末來來回回地 終於把大部分的東西就定位。 之後我大概是有點累垮 免疫系統也不太行 所以牙齒隨即出問題。那個周六還閒 牙齒很痛 爸比帶我去Clementi找牙醫 花了170新幣被牙醫補了個牙 回來更痛。實在受不了 也問了診所 大約都是兩千元弄一個根管治療(1000 root canal + 1200 crown). 周一晚經過孩子與老公的支持 我就訂了單程機票(因為不確定是否過年前可以把牙冠弄好)決定回台灣處理。一是因為新加坡實在太貴 二是因為對新加坡的醫術實在太沒有信心了。 清晨四點老公送我去機場 中午到桃園機場。不想麻煩爸爸來接我 我還花了兩個小時坐機捷+捷運慢慢晃回家。牙齒很痛 只想趕緊看到牙醫。爸爸回家帶我去牙科診所。一去到懷寧街的診所 傻眼 一到二樓沒有電梯 膝蓋不好的爸爸得很辛苦地陪我上樓 我眼淚都快掉下來了。一進牙科診所 傻眼 好老舊阿 而且有似曾相識的感覺 我應該來過 不過早就去國超過十年 所以病例也不在了。還好老醫生與護士感覺蠻精神的 不然我真的覺得鑽牙的機器也好舊 X光機器也好舊阿 之後連續去了幾天 每天根管治療處上藥 清潔。還補了幾處牙齒。也逐漸熟悉這一帶 原來轉個彎就是城中市場 然後可以連接到沅陵街 就到西門町了! 不禁去找起好吃的排骨飯 吃了一塊還不夠 打包了一個便當回家繼續吃。因為只能靠左邊的牙齒咀嚼 所以覺得都還來不及嚼碎 食物就溜下去了 沒想到這幾天還是排便正常 只是牙齒不舒服 食量卻沒有減少的後果 就是小年夜那一天胃很痛 爸媽特別幫我提早訂晚餐 提早吃除夕的團圓飯 可是我的胃疼 根本提不起勁~ 除夕夜回新加坡的機票 是前一天才定的。這次總共花了十天左右在台灣處理這顆牙齒 除夕前一天牙齒送到 裝上 我隔天就離開了。這中間還經歷了幾次地震(花蓮的樓都倒了) 天冷 然後年前的人心與交通都浮躁 爸爸一起爬山的朋友出了車禍等等 我跟Jacq也見到面還吃了她作的蘿蔔糕 跟Rebecca去七星山攻頂(主峰)左腳算是抽筋了 跟高中朋友聚到 有爬到山我終於覺得小小的返鄉之旅有圓滿 才去訂機票回新加坡。其實也只是為了回來幫家人煮飯而已。 這次嚐到甜頭 覺得以後是可以在過年前回家 感受家與年的溫暖的。(一直不直不喜歡在新加坡過年 即使今年是在我們的新家烤肉也一樣。每次都要跟奇怪的二姐的家人 聚在一起卻要各講各的。莫名其妙的不傳統) 明年我希望可以規劃出國 或許去印尼爬山或去日惹看日出 都好過在新加坡過莫名其妙 也沒有可以互相拜年的朋友的年。 2019 consider: Holiday Villa Pantai indah @ Bintan Island (beach and kayaking). 這一次是聽到Bo Jio裡面在聊 通常她們周末的喝酒我都不參加 要不是想睡覺 就是隔天要早起作瑜珈 或是覺得喝酒沒意思 所以久久才去一次。不過她們是每周都會喝的。 說是Marc的同事Yen Theng規劃好的行程 只要跟就好了。我問了下日期 剛好在孩子假期的頭幾天 只影響到接送一天 那麼好的機會 當然馬上點頭。因為是火山行 跟朋友 所以這次就決定不帶孩子 孩子們假期間可以去奶奶家 很不錯的五天。嘗試了浮潛(才新幣三元) 還有登火山。有兩夜都是爬山。第一夜的Kawah Ijen 我們半夜集合 開到山腳下就出發了。坡度很陡 從窄坡上看出去的星空太美了。因為要趕著在太陽出來前看藍色火焰 所以後來也顧不了其他人直接就下去了 這一夜很辛苦 也很有成就感。只有老公與我與Yen Theng三人爬完全程 其他人的體力都不行。 第二夜是半夜兩點集合 所以我這幾天都沒有吃晚餐 直接去睡覺。直接住在山裡面 這一天的爬程有兩段 都算輕鬆。第一段看左邊的日出與右邊的Bromo火山群。然後開到Bromo附近走三公里+210台階去近距離看火山口。那就很震撼了。 喜歡第一晚與最後一晚的住宿。第一晚是從Surabaya Airport直接開了六小時 (其實根本十小時)到達bali對面的ㄧ個地方。抵達時老公已經臉色發白 全身發冷 好可怕。這是Bli風格的旅館 我們的住宿應該是SGD 75 兩戶為一獨立屋。簡單舒服。 第二晚住Ijen View Hotel, Bondowoso 與第三晚的Lava View, Cemara Lawang (Bromo) (original plan but we did not stay in this hotel) 最後一晚住在Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya 是Grand Delux Double Room 很棒還有浴缸。一晚也才新幣150元左右 (跟我預估差不多) 總共五天四夜的行程 花費是一人美金136.50*2 (先付一半訂金 到當地再付另一半)+機票SGD 417/2+小費SGD 20/人(司機與導由各SGD 10) +SGD 3 (Snorkling) + SGD 10 (付給潛水教練的小費)+吃飯約SGD 60/人+SGD 15 (新加坡計程車費)= SGD365 +208.5+20+3+10+60+15=573.5機本費用+108雜費與吃飯=681.5/人 等於第二三晚的住宿與剩下的包車費用約250 等於包車費用與景點門票約170 除以四天 一天一人負擔42.5 其實也不是很便宜 但當時覺得非常便宜。尤其是浮潛只有SGD3 而且去了很漂亮的無人島嶼 Day 1 浮潛與 第二天 Kawah Ijen, Baluran National Park in East Java 第三天 Mt Bromo 飛回新加坡前

普羅旺斯 慢慢走 (露營心得)

這本的作者事劉麗玲 從波蘭到捷克經過維也納 羅馬之後 進入普羅旺斯。從法國坐火車到摩納哥的蒙地卡羅去買帳篷 法國有一種健行步道系統名為Grade Randonnee 簡稱GR 可以與歐洲其他步道連成一體 例如GR5就是等於E2 歐洲二號步道。由尼斯出發 一路北上 法國-瑞士-法國-盧森堡-比利時-荷蘭。 Menton蒙通號稱全法國氣候最溫和的地方。山上的青年旅舍 上坡走很久。蔚藍海岸的物價很高。檸檬節。YH的旁邊有Camping Saint-Michel梯田寺的營地。橄欖樹露營區。 Sainte-Agnes 勝阿妮耶斯村。號稱歐洲最高的濱海地區村莊 海拔780公尺 離盟通指有十一公里遠。Walk to Gorbio, 3km. 一邊是山 一邊是蔚藍海岸。露營區沒有熱水洗澡。不事很友善。 Sainte-Thecle附近有露營區 二星 不錯。-Pillon佩庸老城。往山上爬是Peille。 佩庸-尼斯搭小火車四站就到。Baie Des Anges天使灣海灘。 GR51 (標誌一白衣紅上下兩條小小橫線): 法國義大利邊境一直到馬賽東邊 又稱蔚藍海岸的陽台。一路都可以看到海岸線。-Aspremont櫻桃樹 小旅館 果醬。美麗的普羅旺斯中世紀村莊。Colomars-Var (river)-Gattieres-Camping LEs Cent Chenes. 很多久住的人 50法郎兩個人一碗。 Vence-Saint Jeannet-Domaine de la Bergerie 三星級露營地 很齊全。-La Colombe dOr)-Tourrettes-sur-Loup-Grasse法國香水重鎮 Plateau Napoleon-步道一路向下 到乾淨的小城Cabris 這是小王子作者母親所住的地方。Cabrics沒有露營區 必須到下一個小村Peymeinade 一路下坡到La Pinede露營區 Auribeau-sur-Siagne 在森林中行走 距離老城一公里處有露營區。該村是本地區七十三個山村中最美的村莊。 Aix-en-Provence 普羅旺斯的皇后之稱的艾克斯翁普羅旺斯。YH不好 到四星的露營區Chantecler-往南部的海邊走 先坐火車到馬賽 再搭小火車 來到Cassie 可以看陡峭的石灰岩海岸 Les Calanques. Cassie white wine有名 露營地在Les Cigales 營區貴 土地很硬 收費96法郎(要帶泳衣 去海邊) Les Calanques石灰岩海岸。Calanquede Port-Miou, Calanque de Port-Pin, Calanque d'En-Van三個小海灣。號稱全法國最高的懸崖 搭巴士到Peynier 郊區可露營 有麵包店。不是流行的觀光點 所以遊客比較少。搭巴士到Trets 開始走GR9 到Puyloubier 買布-Camping Le Cezanne賽上露營區 便宜。盛維克多山Montagne Sainte-Victoire. 公車不太準時 容易錯過 最後士搭便車。有一條Route Cezanne Parc Naturel Regional Du Luberon 呂柏宏自然公園(或翻成盧貝隆)。Pertuis村換車到Cadenet露營區容易客滿。大蒜節。Apt老城是蜜餞之都。 地圖買十萬分之一的比例尺的 一公分等於一公里 對於健行來說不夠細。 Roussillon 因為是旅遊注定 很塞車 Arc-en-ciel露營區。是彼得 梅爾書中的地方。-Gordes-薰衣草之路-Abbaye Notre-Dame-Dame de Senanque修道院也有薰衣草。 Gordes的Camping Les Sources不錯 鄉村氣息。Cavaillon是甜瓜之都 Arles亞爾城是梵谷的地方_

我參加了一個DSN課程 參加之前 我也不知道是"Don't Say No" workshop. 我以為是"Do Something New." 不過 其實都一樣 就是得到一份面對一切的信心。 大學時期 我參加的是服務性社團-愛愛會。為何會加入我已經忘記了 可能是海報太漂亮 可能是學長姐太親切 可能是有看到帥哥 可能是骨子裡就是喜歡服務。 但是 我只能去服務山區孩子的擎天營與陪伴沒有資源孩子的育幼院 去青少與愛盲組。對於服務老人的長青社團 我承認自己沒有老人緣 也沒有涉足過。 DSN Workshop其實是帶我們去服務的 (報名前真的不知道。但是 對於想要作Seva 就是*服務* 卻常常給自己藉口或心態建立這點 我也想要突破 想要更全心付出)。說實在的 這個星期的探視與陪伴 我從驚傻,到全力投入, 這中間有很多的學習。 第一天的服務是一般的老人院 我因為近期的幾次經歷 還能勝任。第二天的服務 不只是老人 多是心智失能或是非常殘障的老人 各種各樣。一進入時的看到 我心中真的ㄧ驚。似乎是所有最不可能的情況 都在這裡看得到。但是 他們伸手張臂歡迎我們時 手要不要握下去呢? 當然握!! 而且是全心地去握 深怕不能把我們的激動傳給他們知道。經過靜坐,呼吸與sadhna的練習 我的屏障就這麼打開了。 我儘量陪在四十歲就失明的鄧老先生身旁。也不要忽略了旁邊的阿強 八十多坐輪椅身上皮膚多有破損的王先生等ㄧ桌子的人。因為有一項活動是著色。看不見的他不肯也無法試 我把粉筆放在鄧先生手裡 鼓勵他寫字給我猜 原來以前的新加坡也是學繁體字的。他很開心 還問我要不要聽他唱歌。阿強則一直跟我說他生日 我也ㄧ直說那生日快樂喔! 因為他沒能表達 我實在無法聽懂單音 還得鄧先生翻譯。 我不了解這中間的變化。只知道自己全心全力想要去作 也希望能夠真正讓他們得到陪伴與撫慰。連續兩天的探視與無數地靜坐瑜珈式到腿快要不是我的! 這幾天都拖著很累的身軀回到家 完全不滑手機不看書就只能上床呼呼大睡。隔天六點再趕去上課。很久沒有經歷過這種疲累了。 最後一天上課 老師突然解釋 "這一些人的存在 是要清除我們累積以來的業障。" 聽到這裡 我的眼淚止不了。我不懂的 現在懂了。很感念這個世間的運作 竟是如此的。 每天雖然疲憊 但很久沒有這麼好睡著。最後的ㄧ日 一如以往的課程 化為完全的欣喜 與更多的友誼。這一條道路的學習 有呼吸法/瑜珈/靜心作為我的防護罩 保護層 定心丸。美好的學習機會 還有好多好多 這一條路我走定了! 一如以往 能量滿滿地充飽了。不然我一般不那麼囉嗦的。

Day 1 老師很嚴格 告訴我們不准遲到 Day 2 晚上的靜坐是躺下的。Guruji要我們躺下 搖擺雙手 搖擺雙腳 逐漸搖擺頭 全身都搖擺 並且大聲地發出Om的聲音。這很像經歷一場地震。有人分享自己的離開 居然可以看見自己的身體在shake 這一天去了一個養老院 還是由Ravi他們作主要的帶領 我們就是陪伴 後來大家一起跳舞 我也唱了一首茉莉花 Day 3 1) 八人一組演了一場話劇 以現今社會的嚴重議題為主 譬如教育上的壓力 賭博等等。一組討論完主題後 講師要每一組派一個人站起來 然後這個人把該組的主題告訴另外一組 作主題的交換! It has to be a comedy 並且男生扮女生 女生扮男生等等 2) 四人一組 個字說出自己的best quality and weakness。 3) 當天的Seva是到301 Henderson的德教。說實在的 進去我嚇到了 這裡的居民各種各樣的 長短腿 歪斜眼 身材細小 等等 但還是跟著作服務 4) 兩個小時的服務完成後 下一站是自己選地點 要去與陌生人交談 宣揚Art of Living並且拿到五個registraion. 我一聽這個任務就有點反感 但是因為抓著我一起跑的Gowri很積極 又很急。她真的就衝到一個女孩子與男孩的組合前面 結果那一大群是RI的學生 而且很有禮貌地一直聽她說話 說實在她沒有在說甚麼 有點語無倫次 可是這些孩子很有禮貌 後來跟她說因為要跟另一組人會合 是否可以留下電話再連絡。四個大男孩寫下了電話。WOW! 之後她又抓到一組印度家庭 我也開始不斷嘗試 雖然不喜歡她一直催促我 並且要我去找說華文的 (新加坡人都掩藏她們說華文的事實) 我最後找一個在旁邊滑手機的女生 她一副皮樣 一開始就很兇地說"speak English" 又跟我說他沒有工作 說只有Vitamin M可以幫她。我告訴他the inner calmness will bring money, fortune and everything to her. 她終於才比較軟化。我想 可以把Art of Living的名字 plant a seed在別人心中 這也是很重要的。 Day 3: 早晨: 幾個脊椎矯正的動作 譬如原地踏步時 觀察自己的腳板是否是直的 一天作十分鐘手插腰 原地踏步的動作可自動矯正脊椎 坐下兩腳打開 用手掌間距看看幅度有多大 (我是19個手掌心)。之後作向左 向右 向前的伸展動作 再一次比較看看 腳張開的幅度會變大 手臂往下伸 看是否可以碰到地。再做伸展動作 如往後伸展 再作一次彈性會更佳。 結束的儀式 令人感動: 要每個人找一個對方 對他bow down 然後接受對方的祝福。這時候義工Swaroop他們都加入我們 過程中我一度很感動哭出來 是因為不管你對這些人曾經有怎樣的不喜歡 這一刻都是放下 這一刻他在無私地祝福你。這一刻多麼美麗。所以我也全心全意地去做好這件事情 每天大約八點多就下課 往往我的身體都很疲累 非常非常地累 是那種好不容易回到家 也只能拖著身子去洗澡 洗完澡甚麼事情都無法作 只能上床的累。或許也是排毒的功效 只是伴隨了一些頭疼 不太舒服。到最後一天 我剛好月經來。計算起來 上一次月經來是在澳洲的時候 是在Cradle Mountain的時候所以大約是五號左右 這次月經則提早來了。是否也是排毒的功效呢?

This talk: health, illness and diet is given by His holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shanker 1) Dear Guruji, Can it be if not all of us into this world in any hate? Were some of us forced to incarnate? Sometimes I feel such tremendous waste of aggression and hate for those assumed my space. I craved for the silence, peaceful and serene this space that I hold out of again and again. How to transfer my soul's anger? JGD. A angry young soul. Don't think your soul or you are angry. This thinking I have a lot of anger inside me, you are inviting anger inside you. Anger comes to you when you are very tired mentally and physically. That is why anger comes. When you are tired mentally and physically, exhausted, then small things can meditate, bring forth the anger. Or when you feel that there is a while you are not included. You think other person is not loving you, or is not including you. They impose something on you. You think the person is overpower my freedom. Then you get angry. Otherwise you can not get angry. When you feel weak, then more anger comes. And when you feel weak and not included, There are two types of weakness you get: Weakness of exclusion, of loneliness, and you feel weak in love also. This weakness in love is better than weakness in exclusion, being excluded. Not loved. Weakness in ego. Also another third option or the situation for anger is: when too much of pita is increase in your system. Some imbalance in the body. Suppose you are pita type of person, and you have not eaten past two o'clock, then definitely your pita has risen. And when pita rises, anger comes. In India there is a proverb says if somebody is angry, pour a pot of water on their head. And it is summer hot, heat is there, pita rises. And pita rises, it rises to the head, then a person gets angry, mad. Then you cool them down, pour a pot of water on their head. They cool down. Anything that can slow down the pita is beneficial to control anger. So don't fast when the pita is high. Eat morning early by 10 or 11 am. You should eat, if you are pita type of person. And it rises very fast. Don't keep your stomach empty for too long. And cooling things you eat. If you eat too much cheese, or too much of peanuts, or any of the nuts or oily fried food, too much of potato chips. Then pita rises. For no reason you will get agitated and angry from the morning. You have come out of the bed, and you are having a feast. You are well rested. There is no word. You don't have a mental tension. You don't have physical exhaustion. But anger is coming. Why? Pita is high! Then take pita pacifying food: milk, ice cream, something that yoghurt can raise the pita. Carrot can raise the pita. Carrot juice raise pita. Nuts will raise the pita. Spicy food, hot, would raise the pita. Capsicum would raise the pita too. So pita pacifying food would be with a little bit of sweet, a little bit of milk, or cucumber and foods like that. Cucumber, orange, melon, vegetables, these types of foods. If you vata type of person, You are very jittery. You just do little things here, little things there and accomplish nothing! This is vata type of person. And you should take less of cabbage, potato because potato and cabbage are all vata producing foods. They just simply create restlessness in you . They can also get angry very fast. So vata type of foods. And yoghurt also can produce vata. So in the cold days, vata (). So vata produce foods in the cold, Kapha produce food (in this days) It is no good. See pitta and kapha are completely opposite types of foods. Pitta is quite active, kapha types of person very slow. You bring a ball here they will simply bring the ball, slowly. Vata will run and bring the ball. The pitta will bring the ball, the vata will jitter it on. You will think: Should I bring the ball or not? Should I bring it now or later? Should I take it, or not take it? Should I do it right now, or later on? Vata type of people discuss 10 minutes about the ball. Pitta will simply do it. Vata will ask 100 questions, very uncertain mind. Pitta will be good in action, vata very uncertain, kapha will not do it at all! Slowly~ In ayuvedic, tradition is as soon as you wake up, you have to watch your nadis. You have to find out what is running today: Pitta vata kapha, which is more, which is less. Accordingly there is ok today, We will do this, we will do that. As soon as you wake up, know yourself. To catch your own nadis. Find out what to do. If pitta too much, Ecoshaba. If vata too much, decoshba. Kapha, in between. So like that, balance in the body, balance in the food. Exercise. All these. That is why when someone vatta is imbalanced, they just want to walk away. They just walk. Vata imbalance, it is ok, Walk up and down. And you pacify your vata. Pitta too much, count 1 to 100. This was the punishment when we were all children, if you get angry, we will be asked to go to your corner and count to 100. So you have to go to the corner, look at the corner, turn and face the wall, count 1,2, 3, 4, 7,8,9, 10. You have to count the number. By the time you count to 100, you will be allright. You will calm down. So children are usually this kind of punishment if they are upset of angry. So don't get upset or angry. Another thing they will do is: hold down to your ears. This is very good. This is an acupuncture point. And pull your ear. If you have made a mistake and it is lack of awareness. You have cross your hands, and pull this ears and do sit ups. Pull your ears and sit up. 1, 2, 3, 4. If you have done some mistakes, this is the punishment they will give in the schools. You did something wrong, you have to pull your years. Maybe 25, 30 40 minutes. This is so scientific punishment. When you are pulling these knots, these ears. Have you seen Budda, Budda's ear is so long! That was not the reality. His ear was really not so long. If you see a statue of Budda, or mother divine, or even shiva, these ears are so long. Any god or goddess you see, theirs will be so long. You know why? that means you cannot pull your ear any further. That means they don't do any mistakes. Sigh of enlightened is they have long ears. It means they are () It means they are awareness. One is so aware, so alert that they can not do mistakes. So when your awareness is lacking, what do you do? You squeeze the ears. squeezing it. Nose. Squeeze the ears and see the ear has all the part of the bodies in it. So if you squeeze the ears, the body gets balanced. Any imbalance, liver doesn't work, kidney something wrong, pull the ear properly. So this is the way of punishment they used to give the children. Squeeze the ears. You did this wrong, the mistake? How can you do the mistakes? Squeeze the ears, the mind becomes alert. Oh yeh...It is not leg pulling, it is ear pulling. Another thing about food, you know, see if you are above 40 years old your food intake should be, you should avoid breakfast. In breakfast, you should just take very light some fruits or something easily digest foods. Above 40. A child or children of teenager should really eat 3 meals a day. But once you are above 40, it is better to restrain to 2 meals a day, or one meal and 2 times of fruits, juices, something lighter. Because then your aging will be slower. This is from Ayuveda it says because the system is not having too much of load to digest all the foods and get exhausted and become more quickly. After 40 your body work and work so hard to build up, now you stuffed it with more food, it gets weaker and weaker, and tired and tired and tired. So it is a good to have morning one time. Don't think you will survive only on a lot of foods. No! One meal a day should be enough, and by evening time you should really feel hungry, then it is ok. You can take another meal. Light meals twice or one heavy meal and we eat it the whole day, till in the evening when you really feel hungry you can have some juice, some milk. Something lighter. Especially grains it is better to have it one day. And if you are above 60, it is more advisable to have grains only one time a day. And now and then fasting with some juices, or just vegetables, some water will invigorate, makes you more energetic in your system. More prana gets into your system. Otherwise eating too much makes the brain cells dead, die very fast, so you aging become faster. You start to look older very quickly. It depends on your system. If you are pitta type, too much fasting not good. if you are vata Kapha type, a little longer fast is ok. But one two days three days, vata don't fast too much also. Water, some juice, some citrus fruits, ginger. All these are fine. Ginger you can avoid while you fasting, but ginger generally good to take. Ginger, lemons, all these things. Fresh vegetables, fruits. They are all good. They keep your mind alert. And also you have had teas and fruits. See that and you can feel it. They are well digested in the system. Then you have something. Or else some (rafes) would be good, like a bread and whole wheat bread and those things, long (muji). Smooth them through. So morning is good. Fruits, it takes 20 minutes to digest fruits. Your system takes 20 minutes to digest the fruits. And vegetarian foods, grains and another things you eat, it takes 3 to 4 hours. If you take non-vegetarian foods, one doctor mentioned that non-vegetarian foods takes 8 hours to digest in the system. So someone takes in the morning non-vegetarian it does not digest in the evening and they are dumping more into the stomach. It has given so much work on the load on the system. Question: And if you eat 3 meals a day, your system is never resting. Never resting. It is overworked. So tired. Exhausted. It takes 8 hours for non-vegetarian foods to really digest and move through the system. So see that your previous food is well digested before you take the next foods. This will be a good reason to our own body. How much does the body want? What it wants? Sometimes it wants some salt. Sometimes it wants some sweets. Give it! Don't torture the body. The body is a temple. Treat the body in a sacred manner. But don't just go by your tongue. Usually you just go by your tongue. Not by your tummy. Grain will take 3 to 4 hours to digest. Question: How do get over this craving for taste only? There is so much of craving for the foods! Keep eating with the mouths and feed them with the awareness. Like you do the great process. There you go! You know all other cravings will come into you when you have not put a direction for your energy. If you are busy doing something, you will not have craving for anything. You will have no time for anything else. So it is good to keep ourselves engaged in some directions, some activities, some achievement, something to finish this much. When you have that thing, nothing else comes into mind. Otherwise sometimes you want to have ice cream, you go and have ice cream. But have it without thinking of having craving for it. Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream. That craving is what makes you not to enjoy the ice cream also. When the ice cream is in your hand, because you crave for it so much, now you don't even enjoy it. Do you see what I am saying? So without feverishness of craving, you can enjoy it. First offer, and surrender and then enjoy it! Because the nerve system, all the glands in the nerve system, we have never heard about it, the different glands. One energy going up and down. These different system, how the energy moves up and down in your system, cleanses the whole system. That's very useful. Lot of karma gets eliminated in this session of hollow and empty awareness. All the karmas, the bad impressions, and the mind into the consciousness. So even if your physically don't feel much see-through it, it is of help. Anybody has any question? Question: Guruji, why chocolate is not good for us? What does it do? Chocolates it hurts that It creates blocks in them, brain cells, Dark chocolate especially creates some substance which creates some blocks in the brain cells. So you become cynical, very weak. Question: what is your opinion about the genetic manipulation? Where this manipulation put all human being? We don't know where this is taking us! It could be something like the pesticides. 50 years ago they discovered the pesticides, and now 10 years ago they discard pesticides. Seeing this is not good for human. The same way genetic engineering they inject fish DNA into tomatoes and then cows are fed.....yes I heard, for tomatoes to increase shelf life, they are injecting the DNA from fish. And like this different things are injected on vegetables and animals. You have to wait and see! You see the cows in England, dead cows are fed to cows. You have heard about this. How many of you have heard about this? Just to increase the milk production, dead cows are fed in the form of protein with proteins made through cows. And cows by nature are vegetarians! And you feed them dead cows, they get mad cow disease! Many viruses and many bugs come like this! People will have to listen to the nature. Genetic engineering is okay as therapy. But it is should not be used for the greed of mankind. People become so greedy they want more milk of the cows, more shelf life of the vegetables.Such a greed will destroyed the planet.The bird flu came like this. From genetically engineering, wrong foods being fed to the chicken. And the chicken got bird flu. 10 millions of chicken are butchered in one day in Hong Kong. And these are greed of human being, it is no good at all! What do you say? We destroy the nature, we destroy our own system. How much a person needs? Very little! And the nature had provide plenty! It has given us so much! Any scientific discovery should be used with wisdom, used properly, then it is good. Genetic engineering is used to cure diseases, it is fine. But if it is used to manipulate the greed of human mind. Then it is no good. That is what I see. Question: Why does illness come, and how does it pass away? Where is the beginning of illness, in the mind? Illness is violation of natural love. All impose by nature. All it is a release of past impressions, or Karma. 3 karmas for illness. One is Judu the karma of the previous. That is karma means impressions. In the consciousness they get released through some illness. Another words is you violating the laws of the nature. Like, you know you should not eat, but you eat it. You know you should not overwork your system, you have overworked. Our senses have got limited capacity to experience these objects. When we are over to eat, then we get sick. When there is an imbalance between the foods intake, exercise, rest. Proper exercise, proper rest and food intake, perfect balance of these will keep the health. For you eat and you don't exercise for a month, then tummy becomes bigger, and put on weight, and then a little problem here and there starts. Ok you exercise a lot and you don't rest, then also system is shaken. If you only rest and don't exercise, then also system is ditched. If you do exercise and you rest, but don't eat proper right type of foods, then also system is shaken. So the system is shaken by these 3 things. And then the forth one is inflicted by the nature. Like, a flu comes, and it just swift the whole area. You are absolutely according to the nature but suddenly cold comes and everyone catch the cold. Like some problem disease comes the Nitiopia everybody is suffering from low fevers. This is inflicted by nature. So 3 types of illness. 3 causes of illnesses. And then the nature itself provide the cure for it. What is it? Revert back to the nature. You have cancer, it is because you have eaten things which you are not suppose to be eaten. Something wrong with the foods. And some conflicts in the consciousness of mind. So what you do? Meditate well, let go the conflicts, do pranayama, do have proper food, and it is timely detected all these things comes to help. And many people get better out of it. And one more thing noted is that, health and illness are part of physical nature. So you should not too much worried about it. When you are worried about illness, you are giving more power to the illness. So our attention should be on the health, because you are the combination of the health and illness, A little bit illness there that is health. So when you keep that mind and have a positive state of mind, then illnesses, you know, they change. Because everything in your body is changing. You body is changing and changing and changing. Every cell in your body changes in one year. Every DNA in the body changes in one year. So when there is change happening, we do not consciously encourage "Oh I am sick, I am lame...". Move it! And of course, there are herbs and things, taking all those things, proper foods, it all help! Just believing it, consciousness has more power to eat and cure. And it does help! Not just superficially thinking about it, but with that, feeling it, believing it, knowing it! Consciousness has made this body. Can it not hear it? Feel it? That deep faith should come in one's eye. That definitely make big difference.

金馬崙高原

從原本的日本 到發現我們的戶頭根本沒存錢 不敢肖想出國的話 就只能去馬來西亞了。原本是希望可以去涼涼的地方 就只有金馬崙高原了 沒想到這一陣子新加坡每天都下雨 根本也不熱! 我們還是決定開車去。現在這台小黃車 小得不得了 不過很驚訝地 開上八個小時 其實也不會比大車不舒服到哪裡去! 我們決定從怡保那裏上去 所以要先開遠點到怡保去 吃了好吃的芽菜雞與豆花 就趕緊上路。這段路的路況真的還不錯 一路上的山景也挺乾淨的 只是天氣好不穩定! 一直颳風下雨的。 旅館很便宜 兩個晚上才新幣一百元而已 所以也沒甚麼期待。就兩個小床 他晚上居然不跟我們擠 跑去把三個椅子併在一起睡 還說這樣很好睡 真是夠了! 晚上我們吃炭燒火鍋 很便宜但也很不怎麼樣。金馬崙不太有觀光度假氣息 而且旅館也很老舊 後來Sarah才說都是新加坡人誤會了 那個山上就是個農業集散地 並不是甚麼度假地阿 不過Boh Tea Plantation非常漂亮! 我看照片 以為是高檔的喝茶的地方 到了才知道 不但必須開進彎彎曲曲的小山路 不過沿路都是茶園 沒有其他地方那些殘破的開發 非常漂亮! 真正的用餐區只是一個像是food court的地方 但是景色美極了! 可惜又下雨了 就無法去走走 玫瑰園實在是不值得去 不過門票也便宜的要命就是了。Smoke House如果我再去絕對要去吃一頓的 那裏的scone非常地棒! 或許也值得去住上一晚。草莓園我們也省掉不去了 實在有點貴。在夜市裡買一點吃吃就算了 因為也比不上台灣或日本的好吃阿。另外好玩的是去逛多肉植物 我們實在很難抗拒 買了一些 一小小盆才兩元 然後 六小門才十元。我們買了大大小小的 想說進關的時候藏好就好了。還買了一顆高麗菜 只要馬幣四元。後來也覺得非常非常好吃! 晚上的夜市也很好玩 很多我們沒看過的東西 譬如Cameron Apples 其實很像是黃瓜的味道 好像其實叫做人參果 所以後來我把它煮湯去了 有一股清香 不過孩子都不喜歡

從台灣回來後 媽咪我的休息期好長 覺得在台灣受到寵愛 好多朋友的相聚 到後來完全無力 拒絕邀約 (可見人也不能一直處在很嗨的狀況 現在的我 非常需要偶爾的寧靜與獨處 所以最後一周自己去了一些地方 八斗子 北投附近的騎車 等等) 孩子在台灣也無比幸福 有阿嬤無微不至的照顧。回到新加坡 孩子各自上學 老公上班 我有點失落 也只是自己靜靜地。直到有一天我發飆 對著Emma大罵她自私 周末不出門的時候 我得準備三餐。原本年初要訂國外的旅遊 當時看著機票非常便宜 但是一省視我們的財務 發現我們根本沒有存錢。去年的帳目一團亂 很多個月的薪水是沒有進來的。他也不肯說明 過了兩個月 他才吞吐地說跟公司做了對帳 公司會還給他四萬多元。所以根本就是擺爛。我不知道他是因為是scientist 所以對帳目並不清楚 還是有意私吞 不入共同帳戶 (他的說法是"因為開了OCBC帳戶 所以公司進錯帳 不進到DBS 而進入OCBC)。後來我發現應該是公司無法支撐 所以也辭退了TJ 目前他又回到一人公司的狀況苦撐。薪水也是有一搭沒有一搭的。一萬元已成泡影。 在目前看來 Emma每個月的小提琴費用 一個小時一百元 竟成我們家最不可能地大支出。她因為功課忙 有一搭沒一搭地練習。我跟她說明 我們家出去吃一頓飯 如果吃到70元左右 算是貴的ㄧ餐 何況她的小提琴費用一個小時一百元! 我也常常威脅她 如果不打算考八級 如果不頻繁練習讓自己進步 乾脆停掉小提琴。 總之就是某一天 我煮飯煮到煩了 她又不知道惹我甚麼 (多半就是回嘴) 我發怒起來 告訴她以後每個周日 她必須負責煮一餐。早午晚餐輪流 目前炒過炒飯 作過鬆餅(今天是假期的第一天 她前一個周日沒有幫忙做飯 所以今天坐了鬆餅 不是用鬆餅粉 而是從麵粉開始作的 證明她只要自己想吃 是可以做得出的) 炒菜等等。

還在過年期間 我們要再度出國 不過也只是去一船之隔的Bintan Island而已。是因為一月的時候 他說軍中有給禮物 有兩百點可以選擇飲食或甚麼的 所以我們選了民丹島的旅館一個晚上 跟新的水族館的門票。 後來發現選民丹島超級笨的。第一是船票貴死了 好像花了快兩百塊新幣。然後從港口要有車來接才能去飯店 這就逃不掉了 我們的房間是訂了兩個人的 到了飯店雖然我們躲到海灘去了 可是旅館大廳死都不放手 說我們四個人就接送跟房間都要加錢 好像加了80多新幣 然後房間只是一般般。 這一周剛好風很大 所以坐船時的風浪很大 然後上岸了我們超級餓的。還好外面就有Roti Boy那種很久沒看到的咖啡麵包。馬上嗑了一個 午餐就省下來了。我們一到海灘 就看到很多人在玩Parasurfing. 隔天才發現那是一組老外 這些不是旅館有的設備。我們甚麼也不想做 就是休息 看看書 在沙灘上抓蟹 因為退潮所以沙灘的水退到好遠好遠喔 隔天早上漲潮水就回到岸邊了。 五點多就跑去吃晚餐 叫了Kampung fried rice. 用小魚乾炒的炒飯非常好吃。晚上就去泡在泳池裡。 隔天早上 他帶孩子們去 說是玩了香蕉船 我懶洋洋的 最後還是決定出去找他們 卻來不及為孩子們拍照。就這樣兩天一夜的小旅行 也花了不少錢阿 不過終歸是去過民丹島了。對於島上的貧窮與進出倒的混亂 我們倒是很驚訝 一直以為民丹島是度假的地方 不過其實也只是印尼的ㄧ個貧窮的島嶼 島上有幾個大旅店而已。
