DIS Mechanical (Mechatronic) Engineer – Sønderborg

Dansk IngeniørService (DIS) is growing and with the ambition to be the best in the industry, we are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical (Mechatronic) Engineer for our newly established department in Sønderborg. As a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer in DIS, you will become part of our development team, where you will have a varied work life with professional challenges that match your competences. You will be involved in small and large development projects for our wide customer base across many industries, where your will be responsible for mechanical/mechatronic constructions and calculations, test and analysis, and documentation in all phases of the project implementation in close dialogue with our customers.

Project assignments range from mechanical development, dimensioning and optimization of mechanical solutions, including product development of mechatronic products. The assignments are solved individually or in teams, either from the DIS office or as a consultant at the customer’s office - always with support and sparring from your highly specialized colleagues.

You are project-oriented with a focus on technical solutions and development
You have a theoretical degree as an engineer either as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechatronic Engineer – preferably combined with some years of experience.

As part of a consulting business, it is important to us that you feel comfortable in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment, where you are ready for change. You are good at communicating with both customers and colleagues, and you are fluent in English – both written and spoken.

In our projects, the following disciplines are often represented:

• Mechanical constructions
• Knowledge of several CAD programs
• Product development and optimization within mechatronic products
• Plastic material design

As a person you are outgoing, take initiative and you are a self-starter. You are passionate about your profession, stay up-to-date with technical progress and present yourself professionally. You are professionally strong and competent as a sparring partner and is good at engaging in new and complicated issues. We expect that you can take on several roles within the project work, including idea generation, requirement specification, design, testing and documentation.
