JOB DESCRIPTION:

MEMS design of next generation products, meeting all specifications.

?
Responsible for new MEMS devices from sensor architecture to product release.

?
Interface with CMOS designers to define and optimize both MEMS and sense electronics.

?
Perform system level modeling and FEA modeling including MEMS, IC components, Package.

?
Write invention disclosures leading to patents for new devices.

?
Perform bench level testing and debugging of new MEMS devices.

?
Support test development.

?
Support customer requests.

?Support or training of either employees in other groups or new employees in the same group.

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:
?
Minimum MS + 3 years of MEMS design and manufacturing process experience or PhD in Mechanical / Structural / Civil / Electronics Engineering or Physics.

?
Thorough understanding of MEMS design criteria, with focus on accelerometer and gyroscope mechanical structures.

?
Experience with one or more of the following:
?
MEMS mechanical structures design

?
MEMS/ASIC interaction and system level device specifications

?
MEMS layout tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso or Tanner L-edit)

?
MEMS process flows

?
FEM modeling using ANSYS or equivalent FEM simulation software

?
MATLAB computing software and Simulink simulation tool

?
Experience with lab debugging and MEMS devices validation


?
Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

?
Diligent, detail-oriented, and willing to take the initiatives for process and flow improvements.
