Your baby is getting smarter every day. This week, try this test: Show him a toy, place it under a plastic cup, then remove the cup and let him get it. Do this two more times. Now take the toy and place it under a different object, such as a little box, and watch what he does. He''ll still look under the cup for the object because he''s associated the toy with the familiar covering. This may not seem like a sign of budding intelligence to you, but it is!
