Hi~ 小寶真是可愛

今天主要的行程 是去娃阿公的故鄉--嘉興 這地名也是我名字的由來 娃阿公為了紀念他的故鄉給我取的 我們坐上午十點的動車去嘉興 大概40分鐘左右就到了 娃跟阿公在動車的餐車 今天非常感謝娃爸嘉興分公司的同事 因為有了他的帶路 娃阿公找到了很多小時候的記憶 如果我們自己來 大概只能到南湖走走了 嘉興的月河街區 跟我上次去的周庄很像 中午我們在裡面的餐廳吃嘉興菜 嘉興的特產--菱角 跟台灣的菱角不太一樣 生吃有水梨的水份跟口感 吃飽飯後繼續逛嘉興 娃阿公七歲後住的塘灣街 已經變成家具城 血印寺(柱子上有個像血印上去的佛像) 嘉興三塔(為保祐航行船隻安全所建) 娃阿公有印象的教堂 獅子匯渡口(共產黨的起源地) 我們在下午四點左右離開嘉興 今天雖然累壞了 但娃阿公回酒店後 興奮的都睡不著 晚上在酒店附近的香港茶餐廳吃飯
娃阿公的尋根之旅
娃阿公從16歲離開大陸後 就再也沒回去老家--上海&嘉興看看 所以規劃了三天兩夜的娃阿公尋根之旅 我們入住的"上海大酒店"(九江路505號) 酒店硬體設備還蠻不錯的 中午我們在萊福士購物中心吃飯 大概是週末,每間餐廳都要等位 只好去小吃街吃無錫小籠包 下午去看看娃阿公小時候最常去玩的地方--大世界 大世界我們找了好久 娃阿公也沒啥印象 還好碰到了一個上海老伯伯 他說我們站的地方就是大世界 娃阿公說大世界以前是個遊樂場 他七歲前住的地方就在大世界的對面 只是現在那裡變成了公園 上海真的比較有台北的感覺 不僅有很多家coco奶茶 還看到豪大大雞排 7-11也有OPEN將的蹤跡 連和民日本料理都有耶! 晚上我們在酒店附近 找到了一家"老克勒上海菜"吃晚餐 裡面有個年紀很大的服務生 娃阿公跟他用上海話聊的很開心 吃飽飯後 本來想去外灘走走 途中聽到廣播有黃浦江遊船的行程 我們就臨時決定去坐船 娃一聽到坐船就放聲大哭 不過後來在船上最高興的就是她 我問她之前在哭什麼 她說她怕掉到水裡.......搭哩嘛好了 我們坐的黃埔號 浦東的夜景跟浦西真的很不一樣 一中一西.一古一今 今天天氣不太好 相機也不夠好 拍不出眼前的美景

從頭到尾不知道娃在台上唱些什麼 回家叫她再表演一遍 也抵死不從
我們8月中旬回北京後 娃跟Jenny一直沒機會碰到面 所以今天約了Sandy一家去正院大宅門吃晚餐 兩位小姐一碰面 馬上就玩到連飯都不吃 餐廳七點多的表演開始後 兩位小姐看的目不轉睛,頻頻叫好 吃飽後又去阿利與艾德續攤 看到這三球巧克力冰淇淋 兩位小姐簡直是high到最高點

9:00~12:00 This week we went on our first field trip, to Chaoyang Park. All of the KG students were very excited to be taking the bus together! They were even more excited to use their magnifying glasses to explore living things at the park.

This week KG have explored patterns and have begun to inquire into.... What is a pattern? What does a pattern look like? Where do we see patterns?
1. Home Readers Today students have commenced taking books home for reading. They have read these books in class. Students may need help as they begin to develop their reading skills. Assisting them to sound out words, or look at the pictures for clues as to what a word is, or reading a sentence and have them re reading, children follow the words with their finger are all the beginnings of reading. Also asking questions about the books, text, pictures - what, who, how, why kind of questions, assist develop comprehension and inference skills. Students will re read the same book tomorrow to take home and will change during the week. Please take the opportunity to share this reading time with your child and that they return the folder EVERY DAY. 2. Sight words In the students' Reading Folder they have a list of sight words and a small book. These words are words that we use frequently and are not always phonetically spelt. Although it is a large list, WE DO NO EXPECT KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS TO KNOW THEM ALL. In addition to home reading, students can focus on two or more words a week to read, identity, or write in their small book. Literacy activities within the classroom do focus on these words. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to ask. 3. Chinese Culture Day 9th September Students will participate in a range of activities during their Chinese lesson in the Multipurpose room. 4. Friday 16 ASSEMBLY Nursery to Grade 1 will have an Assembly in the Theatre at 8.30 am. Kindergarten students will be presenting their learning from their current UOI - I Belong. We hope you can make it.

1. Students to practice writing their name Students took home their name and a marker to trace over and practice writing their name at home. For students that can write their name please assist them to focus on writing neatly, on the line and using only a capital for the first letter in their name. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS TO BE ABLE TO IDENTITY AND INDEPENDENTLY WRITE THEIR OWN NAME. 2. Parent Coffee Morning - Wednesday 31 August - see attached flyer. This is a great opportunity to gain useful strategies / information to assist your child's language abilities. 3. Home Readers Home reading will commence next week. Students will bring home an extra folder (their Reading Folder) which needs to be returned to school EVERY DAY, just like the Communication Folder. Students will have read the book in the classroom. Please take time to share an opportunity to read with your child. Your child will begin by looking at the pictures and using the for clues for what the text is, sounding out letters. It is ok to help them with words. Prompting questions such as What is this? (pointing to a picture), What is this letter sound? (helping them to sound out words), What is happening? What do you think will happen? All of this is beginning reading.

本來傍晚想去四得公園走走 晚餐吃愛江山 臨時起意改成去后海走走 慶云樓吃晚餐
娃昨天早上一直吸鼻子 放學去接她時 她說她今天在學校有流鼻涕 晚上開始精神不濟 我想她應該是感冒了 洗好澡後讓她吃了希普利 今天早上起來 她發燒燒到38度3 我叫她在家休息 她竟然說她要戴口罩去上學 今天北京一早就開始下起雷陣雨 我怕她出門一淋雨 感冒又加重了 所以堅持讓她在家休息 看她失望的表情 唉~~有沒有這麼好學啊!

今天晚上去世貿天階走走 晚上在金湯匙吃飯 吃飽飯後 正好趕上7點半的天幕表演 娃跟娃阿公看的好專心 後面的路人甲搶啥鏡頭
房租每個月被漲了2千5人民幣 夭壽喔!
今天傍晚帶娃阿公去前門走走 晚餐本來想吃全聚德 但看到長長的排隊人龍就放棄了 改去吃便宜坊烤鴨
帶娃阿公去藍色港灣走走 順便吃午餐
