It was a good flight, but I didn't sleep long on the plane, not like before. Although it was tiring, it's still good to be back here. We had a little problem in the customs, but luckily it was solved at last. It took us more than two hours to get through. It never happened to me before, and I was a bit frustrated. Turns out they just want to make sure that Ryan's father agrees with this trip. So we were kept only because we forgot a piece of paper- the consent letter.
What I don't understand is that I brought it with me last September when we went to Seattle and Vancouver because Ryan's parents didn't come, but no one asked for it. This time Hazel is coming too, and they ask for the letter? Totally insane. Oh well.
Turns out the landlord is really very nice, and the other tenants are nice too. I guess I finally got back my luck on the housing issue. The room is a bit small, but big enough for us three. We went to Safeway for the daily necessities after meeting everyone.
PS: There is a tenant who is really REALLY handsome! Ha!
