Montessori
This week in Practical life, we started to eat snacks in a buffet style and we learned how to pass things clockwise (right to left) and counter clockwise (left to right). We had a review of the Geometric cabinet nos. 1-4 and played an “I Spy Game” this week in Sensorial.
In Science, we had a review of different oceans animals that we studied for the benefits of the new comers. In Culture/ Geography we revisited China.
English
This week we have begun the last lesson in book 1, working with the short “o” sound in three and four letter words. Next week we will review the entire book with small test and quizzes, and move on book 2. Book 2 will focus on more complicated sentence structures, 4-5 lettered words, and vowel, consonant combinations.
Chinese
1.学习古诗《江南春》，要求能背下来。
2.学习笔画点、横、竖、撇、捺等，在学习笔画的同时要求能根据笔画想出自己认识的汉字，如：点这个笔画能想起六这个字，横能想起十这个字，能让学生在学习笔画的同时要学习汉字
3.学习句型，越来越，先讲解再让学生造句，不要求会写只要能理解这个句型就行了。
Math
1.继续学习用算式来解题，能知道从左到右，由上到下来运算。
2.学习10以内加减法的口编应用题。
