MESSAGES
‘Let’s Be Ambitious’ - We will be sending home an extra optional homework sheet on Wednesday for the children that like an extra challenge. More information will be available in their homework folders.
As the weather is getting warmer please ensure your child is dressed appropriately and has their labelled water bottle, sun hat etc
LITERACY
This week the children will be learning how to blog about their experiences at Lin’An. We will use a range of literary techniques to write recounts that are exciting and draw readers in. We will look at how the language of blogging is different to more formal language. We will also continue to revise a range of grammar rules.

MATHS
In maths this week we will be studying ration and proportion. We will look at the relationships between numbers, using our knowledge of fractions and decimals to make multi-step calculations. We will finish the week by completing some investigations using what we have leaned.

THEMED LEARNING
This week's themed learning will be based on consolidating our experience at Lin'An. We will review everything we have learned: about ourselves, each other and the environment. Children will work in small groups to make presentations that can be shared with next year's Year 6.

COMPUTER PROGRAMMING AND DIGITAL LITERACY
This week we will be looking again at eSafety, further helping the children understand how to be safe when online and how to control their own profile on the internet. We will also look at how to make safe searches and how to respond if something inapropriat is encountered.

This week the children will be reflecting on all they have learnt on camp and reflecting on what made them a good team member and how they can further develop their skills.
