今天是美國的父親節
也可以說是Charles的第一個父親節
有了一個月前母親節的經驗
我們都在猜教會今天會不會也送啥父親節小禮物呢?
早上到了教會
果不其然
爸爸們也有小禮物喔
牧師還叫爸爸們站起來
感謝並鼓勵他們一番
Charles不好意思站起來
他說現在只是準爸爸
(而且牧師提到的那些辛勞他都還沒開始做哩)
明年再站起來吧
這就是Charles第一份父親節禮物
有一張小卡片和一個測胎壓的小棍子
卡片正面寫著:
Strength For The Journey ~ Special Dad
背面則是:
Help me keep my eyes on you, Jesus. Show me how you did it. You continued on your journey because you wanted to walk with me on a journey that will end only in eternity. I need your strength, Jesus! I konw it's mine because I am yours! Amen.
Be strong and a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee. Joshua 1:9
