Dear Diary,
Yesterday I went to Kew(Q?) Gardens with my friend Lea and her dad. She's French so on top of the e is meant t be this '. Still, she can speak English fluently. Apparently, mummy and daddy and Becca(my baby sister) couldn't come so me Lea and her dad went alone. On the bus we pretended we were drivers. Flick meant forward, Lick meant left, Rick meant right, S-too meant stop and Glide meant go.
At Kew Gardens, we went to the two greenhouses, experiencing the weather inside and learning about plants. In greenhouse number 1, it was boiling hot, that I wished I could get water sprayed on me for 10 seconds! We went out, about to go to the 'Treetop walkway', when rain came pouring down! We hid in greenhouse number two but that one, wasn't so hot. In greenhouse number 2, we sat on a bench and started sketching a flower that we named, Scarlet. When rain calmed, we walked to a Greek place when suddenly, rain started heavily falling again! We hid in the Greek place and had our lunch.
Next, we went to a place called Badger Sett. It was a low cave for us to climb on and when we went in the cave, there were loads of small tunnels to go through, rest in, and crawl out again. Lea's dad couldn't come in with us of course. So we climbed up to the top of the small low cave and on the little rock on the top of the cave, there sitting with 2 newly made friends, was Tom! A boy from my class at Garfield!
Last of all, we went to Creepers and Crawlers. It had lots of things for us to crawl on.
