Silver Dolphins, Winter Trouble!(M)

"Now class, I would like each of you to write a story about dolphins. Antonia, especially. Your mum has told me that you love dolphins and know nearly everything about them! Isn't that right?" Antonia blushed furiously and nodded. She got started straight away.

After school, she was worrying about the other silver dolphins, Spirit, Star, Bubbles and Dream. It was winter and today was the last day of school till the Christmas holidays. Antonia trudged home anxiously when the snow started to drift down! It was winter magic! Antonia ran home as the snow started to build up!

The next day, it was Saturday. The coming Monday she didn't have to go to school! She just felt so free! She opened the curtains to find a tiny bit of sunlight. The snow drifted down as she yawned, scratched her brown, wavy shoulder length hair. She changed into warm trousers, blue woolly shirt and comfortable white socks. Antonia brushed her teeth, rinsed them and washed her face.

Her dad made breakfast which was pancakes with syrup, butter on toast, milk, water and orange juice. Suddenly, Claudia called and told her that she was needed. Thinking it was urgent and important, Antonia hurried anxiously.

She stuffed her mouth with two tiny pancakes, grabbed a piece of buttered toast and flicked through an Argos catalog. When she swallowed the mouthful of pancakes, she slumped the catalog quickly on the table. Looking around, she called her mum downstairs for breakfast, "Mum! Breakfast! Where do you keep those small plastic bags?!"
"What dear? Oh, in the kitchen on top of the fridge. Have some breakfast before you rush of to Sea Watch."

Antonia just nodded silently and set off to Sea Watch. The crisp winter air was absolutely still. This worried Antonia. The silent air told her that something bad was going to happen, Antonia worried about the other Silver Dolphins and Sea Watch. What was wrong? Her boots crunched in the ankle deep snow.

As soon as she got to Sea Watch, Cai and Claudia greeted her happily. "Hi Silver Dolphin!" Claudia greeted along with Cai, "We just need help feeding some animals and just a few homeless seals to release back into the sea. Yes, they might still have a faint scar but they are perfectly fine. Thanks Antonia!"

Antonia Lee walked in to feed Tilly the seal which seemed to be perfectly fine now. She would go and tell Claudia and ask if she and Cai could release/pull Tilly the seal back into the sea. Not that she didn't like Tilly, she loved Tilly but she didn't want her to be helpless as she grew older!

Suddenly, when she and Cai were dragging heavy Tilly into the sea, their dolphin charms started to beat. Sweat formed on their eyebrows quickly. The charm was beating awfully quickly! It was really urgent! Claudia knew the call and rushed to help them get the fat seal into the sea. Cai and Antonia peeled off their clothes to reveal their blue shaded swimming costume. Leaving their clothes, shoes and any other stuff(apart from the charm of course), they dived into the sea...

In the sea, Spirit explained the problem. Dream was hurt! Antonia panicked, Cai shuddered when he saw the bloody scar. The blood flowed fluently(shudder) into the sea. "Oh! Cai! Hurry, you and Bubbles go and get as much seaweed as possible. We need to stop the blood flowing." Antonia couldn't help stare at the large gash directly above Dream's(a Silver Dolphin) left flipper.

"She saw a big piece of ice and followed it. She was attracted by the flitter fluttering snow. Then, Dream bumped into a sharp piece of ice that some children were throwing in the sea. Why at the beach? Well, I don't know! It scratched her badly which is what caused the huge gash." Spirit anxiously explained.
"Oh Dreamy Dream Dream! Can you still swim?!" Star, her mother asked worriedly.
"Sure! Muum!" Dream blushed.

Cai and Bubbles arrived back with lots of seaweed. Antonia wiped at the scar. Dream flinched ever so slightly. "Heal." murmured Antonia, touching the gash gently and imagining it soft and new. At once the magic started to work. Soon, all that was left on Dream's soft skin was an extra faint scar. "Thank you Silver Dolphins! Thank you!"
