After breakfast in hotel, walk around king ludwig’s Neuschwanstein Castle, which famously inspired Walt Disney. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from high up.
We will skip the interior of Neuschwanstein Castle, which was never completed, and drive to Linderhof Palace (1hr) instead. This is the only large palace King Ludwig II lived to see completed .

In the evening, visit English Garden. This beautiful (and vast) park is one of the main reasons residents and visitors love Munich. Have a beer at the beer garden within - the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower), which has a magnificent old-fashioned carousel.
