Fei made it to Badminton training CCA team

When I was back home after work today, staying in my room and waiting for Pinche to finish his piano lesson, Fei excitedly hopped into my room and I as usual asked her, "How was your school today?", she told me, "mummy, I am very happy today! I made it for the second round selection and now I am officially one of the badminton CCA training team."
I knew she was very upset last week when she told me she didn't get in after trial selection. She has been in the ECCA for almost half a year, and she likes to play badminton. It's not easy for us either because her daddy needed to wake up early on Saturday morning and drove her to school for practice. Surprisingly, Fei never complains about it or shows reluctant to go.
I am happy for her. So I asked her, "who else made if for the second round?" She said other two classmates and they both attend the ECCA on Saturday. Later I realize the teacher is the same coach as their ECCA. So I am wondering, does the coach recruit these kids because she wants them to keep staying in ECCA? After all, we have to pay for ECCA abut CCA training is free? (Because mummyI did think to stop her badminton class since she was not selected for school team...)
