Ryan had no school today, so I took him to the Champlain Heights Branch Library for the family story time. Then we went to Yaletown to meet Hazel for a little sightseeing in the afternoon. It's time to do some "tourist" stuff.
We had our lunch at FHAT in Yaletown, and we bought some bread at a beautiful supermarket, which I first stopped by in 2002 and liked it all at once. Then I always go and buy something from it every time I'm near that area. Then we took the Aquabus to Granville Island, which is one of Ryan's favorite activities. He was very excited about it.
The public market, the kitchenware shop, the hat shop, the book store, the stationary store and the kid's market are the places we go every time I visit Granville Island. It's so nice that they are always there.
And I always go to
"Go Fish" for fish and chips, and
"Cheesecake Etc." for cheese cake with strawberries. They were as delicious as usual. I was very satisfied with the little trip this afternoon.
