老實說這並沒有一個準則,我想我舉我自己很喜歡的一個作家作品來給大家參考.
Barbara Helen Berger 第一次接觸Barbara Helen Berger 的繪本是Grandfather Twilight,
在angel學校裡,我很訝異畫裡的優美,並且充滿無形的力量,
當老人將手上的珍珠拋向天空,
那畫面幾乎印入我的內心裡,我知道那份和諧很難用語言說明,
而我幾乎在那時候感覺時間是靜止不動的!
Barbara Helen Berger 總是用很簡單的故事架構說一個很具古典意味的道理,
並放進她的畫畫裡,將語言敘述不出來的心靈層面,用畫間接的表現出來,
她的故事都非常適合睡覺前說給孩子聽,
輕輕的用母性的語言表達加上畫面,那感覺很像在孩子的心臟做按摩!
我真的就是這樣的感覺,angel非常喜歡Grandfather Twilight這本書.
後來我才知道,真的有Grandfather Twilight這個有智慧的老人存在,
也是成就這故事的人,而我更難接受原來GT內心裡在述說和平的寧靜裡,
還有和平的相反面戰爭存在,或許我們真的很幸福,是生活在和平的世界裡!
