It was a sunny day. Even though Sharon and I weren't feeling well, we decided to take kids out. We went to Champlain Heights Branch Library to return books and pick up some more books. Then we went to Granville Island again. Of course kids were excited for visiting kid's market again and this time I bought a wooden car for Ryan. He was very happy. Go Fish was actually the main reason why we visited Granville Island again. We even went to Cheesecake Etc. after Go Fish. We were so full and tired, but very satisfied. I took two Tylenols today but it was worth it. What a day!
It rained. We stayed at home all day, except dined out.
We went to Metrotown again to shop for me and my families.

Umm... We found our favorite Mexx Kids Store is on-sale (30% off) yesterday and decided it should be the first thing to visit the store today. AND we found a lot of good stuff for the kids. What a nice SHOPPING DAY! Later, a lady on the bus said to us, "Shop till you drop!" "It's really nice to do it from time to time." Oh well... I can't agree her more!
Today is Ian's birthday. We went to Metrotown. Because Ryan's birthday is in October, we decided to celebrate the two boys' birthday together. First, we rode the train tour in the mall. Then we went to Toysrus to buy some toys for the boys. My mother-in-law bought Ryan two boxes of Lego. Ian got two boxes of Lego too. After having some quick lunch at the food court, we went to MEXX to buy kids' clothes. MEXX is our favorite brand for children's clothes. It is now 30% off. Great deal!
We dropped in a family time in the Killarney Communication Center but it was just ok. I don't think I'm gonna drop in again. After that, we went to Champlain Heights Branch Library, which is very near, and the boys attended the Preschool Storytime. It is Mid-Autumn Fastival. We surely wanted to do something special for the kids, so we went to the China Town to have a good big meal for dinner and we bought some mini mooncakes for later. On the way home, we saw the big, bright moon. It was amazing! We got luck because the sky was full of clouds this evening, but it was very clear when we jumped on the bus. We made some tea and had the mooncakes together. I told the kids about the stories of Mid-Autumn Fastival. AND we let the kids stayed up until 10:30. They watched some of the good DVDs we borrowed from the library. We all enjoyed Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Trashy Town, Rosie's walk, the caterpillar and the poliwog and Joey runs away. What a great day! Happy Moon Fastival!!!
We had a cup of coffee at the nearest Starbucks and then we went grocery shopping at the nearest Safeway. On the way home, we played the falling leaves in the neighborhood. In the afternoon, the kids went to the playground with Sharon.
Because the power was out in the apartment where we're staying, we went to the Champlain Branch of Vancouver Public Library today. Then we went to the playground at Killarney Community Centre. The kids had fun.
飲茶 is a very important thing in my own and my in-law's families. We went to a famous restaurant today, but it was tooooooo crowded!!! We couldn't really enjoy the food. Too bad!!! Then we had a cup of coffee at Starbucks. While I took the three boys to the playground, my in-laws cleaned the apartment.
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! Well...I ended up buying a t-shirt, a pair of sleeping pants, and a toy airplane for Ryan. I only got 5 socks which were really cheap for myself. Ah...I guess this is so-called MOTHER!
